A shelter for pilgrims:

Nestled at the charming village of Santa Cilia, at the heart of the Aragonese Way, the hostel welcomes you with the warmth of a home. Established in 2003, the hostel has been the shelter for thousands of pilgrims on their journey in search of an overnight stay.

Just a piece of heritage:

The hostel building has a rich history. It was formerly the parish house of the village, and after careful restoration which preserved the original atmosphere, it was transformed into this cosy hostel. Stone and wood, typical materials of the region, prevail in its interior, creating a traditional and charming rustic atmosphere.

Privacy and comfort for everyone:

Hostel facilities are specially designed to ensure the rest of the pilgrims. The shared rooms, gender-divided for comfort and privacy, will allow you to restore your energies and enjoy a good night's sleep.

More than a simple accommodation:

The Albergue Municipal de Santa Cilia provides you a complete experience. You can enjoy delicious pilgrim menus, lovingly prepared by the hosts, in a family and friendly atmosphere. Furthermore, there is a large lounge for relaxing, reading, sharing stories with other travellers and even making new friends.

A break along the way to enrich your trip:

In case you have time, take advantage of your stay to visit the nearby Monastery of San Juan de la Peña, both an architectural jewel and a major cultural and spiritual hub in the region. Its thousand-year history and impressive beauty will take your breath away.

Pricing

For pilgrims who wish to visit the "Monasterio de San Juan de La Peña" we offer the possibility of extending their stay up to two nights, upon presentation of the entrance ticket or the Monastery's seal.
